1788 Pattern Heavy Cavalry sword regimentally marked to the 1st Kings Dragoon Guards

99.5cm blade maker marked on back edge by J J Runkel & Co Sohlingen engraved on each side with a crown GR cypher and the Royal Motto and KDG within a starburst, regulation steel multi-barred hilt with fish skin covered grip (wire missing) in its re-leathered scabbard retaining its original steel locket with frog hook and chape.
